In the workshop, we learned that pipettes are tools used to measure and transfer small amounts of liquid accurately. We learned the correct way to use a pipette, including using a pipette filler instead of our mouths for safety. The workshop showed us how to draw liquid up to the correct mark and how to release it carefully to avoid spills or air bubbles. We also learned why pipettes are important for making precise measurements in experiments. Overall, the workshop helped us understand how pipettes help ensure accuracy in lab work.
