NSCI 100 Reflection

In NSCI 100, we learned key math skills for science, such as unit conversions, scientific notation, significant figures, ratios, and dimensional analysis. These skills helped us practice solving equations and interpreting data with accuracy.

For chemistry, this foundation is essential because precise calculations are needed for things like balancing equations, converting between moles and grams, and working with concentrations. Strong math skills ensure accurate results in both coursework and lab experiments.
