Today topic was curriculum sir nisar ahmed told us about curriculum and its types. we learned that Curriculum is a standards-based sequence of planned experiences where students practice and achieve proficiency in content and applied learning skills. Curriculum is the central guide for all educators as to what is essential for teaching and learning, so that every student has access to rigorous academic experiences.

Sir also told us about National Curriculum of Pakistan 2006 and DCAR (Directorate of Curriculum, Assessment & Research Sindh, Jamshoro.) and learned about competency, standard benchmarks and Student learning objectives (SLOs).competency measures skills and learning rather than time spent in a classroom, Educational standards are the learning goals for what students should know and be able to do at each grade level, Benchmarking allows educators to identify students' strengths and weaknesses, which can then inform their future instruction and SLOs are carefully planned goals for what students will learn over a given time period. Sir Nisar Ahmed also told us that Scheme of Study (SOS) usually an interpretation of a specification or syllabus and can be used as a guide or road map in school throughout the academic year for monitoring progress of teaching and learning
