Southern Line is open, currently spanning eight stations from Nibong Island to Zazaa. The line is wheelchair accessible, with wheelchair friendly facilities installed at stations and trains. The only exception is Green Jungle Zone, where no barrier-free infrastructure is built due to its surrounding nature and design. All stations except Green Jungle Zone is fitted with a Customer Service Centre where passengers can enquire the staff for assistance. For Green Jungle Zone, telephones are installed for commuters to communicate to the Control Centre if they need assistance.
Train service currently runs from Nibong Island to Zazaa and vice versa. At Nibong Island station, all passengers are to alight for the train to return to the depot. It passes through the unopened Dadaa station. While trains and maps show or announce this station and train doors open at this station, no passengers should alight at the station.

Timeline:
04 Oct 2024: Line officially opened, with shuttle train services in between Green Jungle Zone and Rose Hill Village Peak. Nibong Island station, built before Green Jungle Zone, was closed to facilitate the construction of Nibong Island Theme Park. Trains were launched from Low Singh Depot, located a kilometre away from Nibong Island station. (2 stations + 1 depot)
24 Nov 2024: Line extended from Rose Hill Village Peak to Trinidy. (1 station)
12 Dec 2024: Nibong Island station opened. (1 station)
16 Jun 2025: Line extended from Trinidy to act 1. act 2 Depot commenced operations, with trains launching from act 2 Depot instead of Low Singh Depot. (1 station + 1 depot)
20 Jun 2025: Plans of act 2 and act 3 stations were cancelled.
27 Jun 2025: Trains reverts to launching from Low Singh Depot. act 2 Depot is repurposed for Airport Express trains.
18 Oct 2025: Line extended from act 1 to Jajaa. (1 station)
25 Oct 2025: Line extended from Jajaa to Zazaa. (1 station)
31 Oct 2025: Siah in between act 1 and Jajaa opened. (1 station)
