The Family Leadership Council has restructured our board to promote the inclusion of more families. The Family Leadership Council (FLC) is a volunteer effort that fundraises, organizes, and volunteers year round at Zehnder Ranch Elementary. All parents, guardians, and other supportive family, friends, and members of our community are encouraged to participate in the FLC. Parent involvement sets the high standard of excellence in the classroom and at every school event. We cannot do it alone.

FLC events include:

  • Santa's Breakfast

  • Longhorn Stampede

  • Ice Cream Socials

  • Very Important Person (formally Donuts with Dad and Muffins with Mom)

  • Ranch Round-Up - monthly fundraising dinners at local restaurants

  • Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week

FLC fundraisers and volunteers contribute to:

  • Library Books

  • The school's electronic marquee

  • Playground equipment

  • Chrome Books for the classrooms

  • 6th grade science camp
