- Talk to your professors!!! Email them and meet with your advisors regularly
- Monitor your budget. If not a budget notebook, check your spending and savings every month
- Don’t skip class (actually i’ve heard different perspectives so idk about this one)
- Always carry around a phone charger, snacks, and an umbrella in your backpack at all times
- Buy a reusable water bottle/container, esp if you walk around a lot
- Buy a watch (you can’t always look at your phone), preferably with alarms, preferably quieter ones
- Keep your change - it adds up quickly
- Talk to the people sitting next to you in class (make friends!), exchange contact info so that they can share notes if you miss class.
- Have at least one pair of sturdy walking shoes
- Use 2 notebooks for notes, one for in class and one at home. In class make it messy with as much info as you can shove in, and then copy them neatly and clearly into your home notebook
- Don’t take 8am classes
- Don’t take 3hr classes that meet once a week
- SLEEP
- Use quizlet and stuffs,
- CHECK YOUR ALARMS
- Bring tupperware to the dining hall and smuggle out extra food
- Don’t wear your lanyard around your neck
- Try to group your classes together in back-to-back time blocks
- STAY ON TOP OF YOUR HOMEWORK, EVEN WITH OPEN DUE DATES
- Keep on the right on the sidewalk
- Try not to eat a lot after 10pm esp fatty foods
- Take out the trash!!!!
- Don’t Procrastinate
- When starting a new job, write down the date you started (and ended, if it ended), the address, supervisors name, date any promotion/pay raise is implemented
