Add Instant Transfer Caves
New transition doors were added to some screens on the overworld that lead back to the starting house.
In each case, it was possible to soft-lock under certain conditions, such as not possessing the correct item in order to advance, or no way to backtrack. These areas are able to be accessed via a one way directions (such as a ledge), and I could have added a staircase or transition that allowed the player to return from where they came from, but that would allow early access to some areas, eliminating the effort to get there in the first place from the other way around.
Adds instant transfer caves:
Soft-lock condition: After the raft ride, not having flippers nor power bracelet.
Soft-lock condition: Drop from the ledge above near Dungeon 8 without the feather.
Soft-lock condition: Drop from the ledge near Dungeon 7 without a way back. Dropping in the pit without flippers.
Soft-lock condition: Fall in a transition pit in the cave that contains the bird key without a way to advance or backtrack.
Soft-lock condition: Come from above without a way to access powder (or bombs in v1.0) afterwards.
Soft-lock condition: Using the ocarina to play Manbo's Mambo to get here without the power bracelet.
Add overworld modifications
These changes can be made to make the overworld more open for early exploration. Before the map select warp trick, the instant transfer caves avoided potential softlocks.
