The Rime of the Ancient Mariner
The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (originally The Rime of the Ancyent Marinere) is the longest major poem by the English poetSamuel Taylor Coleridge, written in 179798 and published in 1798in the first edition of Lyrical Ballads. Modern editions use a revised version printed in 1817 that featured a gloss. Along with other poems in Lyrical Ballads, it was a signal shift to modern poetry and the beginning of British Romantic literature

Authors sometimes are able to intercept these deeply hidden thoughts …… and raise them up thru the various levels of the subconscious ….. to have them emerge in some format ..at the conscious level ..of the English language VIA written words in a book or a a magazine article.
Those written words may be an obvious explanation ..or they themselves may be in some cryptic sentence.
