北海道教育大学の馬場拓也先生と, 7月25日から27日まで, 北海道教育大学旭川校美術分野「デザイン演習 I」の受講生による課題製作展「線と数のデザイン小径」を開催します. 本企画では, 多角形, フラクタル, 比率などの数学的な考え方を取り入れ, 木材を用いて制作した線立体アートを学内に展示します. 作品を通して, 数学と美術がつながる面白さや, 形の中にある美しさを感じていただくことを目的としています.
期間中は一般の方にも公開していますので, ご興味のある方はぜひお立ち寄りください. 7月26日には学生解説員による解説ツアーも実施予定です. 詳細は公式HPをご覧ください.

In collaboration with Professor Takuya Baba of Hokkaido University of Education, we will hold “Lines and Numbers: A Design Exhibition”, an exhibition of works created by students in the Design Practice I course in the Art Education program at Hokkaido University of Education Asahikawa Campus, from July 25 to 27. This exhibition features three-dimensional line artworks made of wood, incorporating mathematical ideas such as polygons, fractals, and ratios. Through these works, we hope visitors will experience the connection between mathematics and art, as well as the beauty found in shapes and structures.
The exhibition is open to the public, so please feel free to stop by. A guided tour by student interpreters is also scheduled for July 26. For more details, please visit the official website.
