About me

Outside of research and teaching, I love traveling and learning new languages — both of which feed directly into my fascination with how people communicate across different contexts. I'm an avid reader and writer, and I genuinely enjoy talking with my students as much as teaching them. I have a wonderful husband and two amazing sons, one of whom has autism and has taught me more than any academic training ever could. Welcome, and feel free to get in touch!
