YTRS holds regular monthly meetings September through May. It brings together D4 Recreation Professionals to collaborate, share ideas, and inspire each other with their annual programs and activities.
Highlights include:
Directors/ Managers panel meeting in the May.
Visiting different recreation center in the north and south bay.
Lunch and Learns or Best of presentations from Host City.
When: 11:30am- 1:30pm
Traditionally the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

The YAC Social is held annually and allows D4 YACs to have a voice in the YAC Attack planning process. During non-YAC Attack years, our YAC Social brings together D4 YACs to collaborate, share ideas, and inspire each other as they plan their annual work programs and activities.
When: Fall season. Held annually
The YAC Attack is a biannual youth conference event where YACs can sit-in on educational sessions and gain new insights into their roles as YAC members. Sessions are led by fellow YAC members, partners, youth and teen staff, or YTRS members. The YAC Attack event is organized by the YTRS board.
When: Late winter-early Spring. Occurs biannually.
Each year, YTRS awards a scholarship awards to high school juniors and seniors to provide financial assistance for those who have made positive contributions to their local communities and/or the parks and recreation profession. Scholarship winners are honored at the annual CPRS D4 Banquet.
When: every January.
CampCon is an all-day biannual summer staff conference that supplements staff training through sessions and presentations. Educational sessions are typically led by experienced summer camp staff and youth and teen professions.
