Paper submission deadline is April 1, 2020.

As part of the Conference, May 14, 2020, a translation marathon "TRANSLATHON" will be held for students, and May 15, 2020, a plenary meeting will be held concerning pressing issues of teaching foreign languages in non-linguistic universities and colleges. After that, section meetings will be opened to discuss the Conference papers.

The purpose of the Conference is to develop the cooperation in the fields of education and science, to enable the scholars and educators of YSTU, and leading scientists and practitioners to share experience.

Conference sections:

1. Methodological aspects of teaching a foreign language in a non-linguistic university.

2. The place of translation in the linguistic training of a student.

3. Information technologies and multimedia in teaching foreign languages in a non-linguistic university.

4. Language and society. A dialogue between cultures and traditions.

5. Text analysis in linguistic, philological, and methodological aspects.

6. Teaching Russian as a foreign language.

The issues of teaching foreign languages in technical universities and colleges are not limited to the suggested topics, therefore the hosts of the Conference are glad to discuss other relevant issues.

There is no participation fee. All participants will receive digital copies of International Conference Participant Certificate.

The papers are published as per author's original text.

Conference languages: Russian, English, German.

The conference proceedings will be indexed by Russian Science Citation Index.
