The increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, such as hurricanes, droughts, and wildfires, are posing significant threats to vulnerable communities and ecosystems, exacerbating the effects of climate change. 

Our goal is to assess how our choices with food, transportation, and energy use affect our planet's climate, as well as the environmental implications of these extreme events, to develop adaptive strategies to enhance community resilience and mitigate the adverse consequences of climate change.
