Use various 21st Century Skills to create and implement their project. By using 21st Century Skills, the students will be able to better understand their project, think critically and openly about various components, and work together.
Students will use this skill throughout each component of STEAM. Students will consider the problem and brainstorm creative ways of solving it.
Since this is a group project, students will need to collaborate throughout the entire project. Students will utilzie this skill by sharing work loads, helping eachother, and talking to other teams to brainstorm more ideas.
Students will utilize this skill by displaying listening skills for eachother throughout the entire project. Students will share their opinions and be willing to make adjustments to it if that's what the team is communicating.
Within each aspect of the project the students will utilize creativity skills in the following ways: brainstorming new ideas, drawing, and creating visual aids for each component.
Throughout each area of the project students will need to think "outside the box" and utilize different ways of brainstorming to come up with ideas. Students will be introduced to various brainstorming activities to help think critically.
Students will be given a timeline for their project and will be given time each week to work on it. Students will assess their project each week and address what they need to focus on next with teacher assistance.
Each week students will assess their project and make changes if necessary. Students will incorporate feedback effectively and deal positively with any criticism, praise, or problems.
Students will create roles and share the work responsibly. Students will address timelines and make sure that their part of the project is completed.
Students will access information online responsibly and site their sources within their flipgrid submission. Students will be able to understand the information they need and what is relevant to their project.
