The current process is manual and the challenges are:


  • Patients have to wait a lot which is not a good experience

  • The Physician cannot effectively plan his visiting time/ days effectively to balance the patient load across working days.

  • It is difficult to track patient history and treatment.

  • If a physician gets an emergency either appointments need to be rescheduled or canceled.

A Physicians should be able to:


  • See patient schedule & payment record.

  • View a patient summary and details about health, vitals, existing disease, treatments, medicines prescribed, & current complaints.

  • He should be able to log the patient compliant and write a prescription.

Stakeholder Mapping & Analysis

This is a process of assessing a system and potential changes and how the interests of those stakeholders should be addressed in a project plan.



Design Brief

Design a platform where doctors can view patient lists for a

day in a segregated manner with multiple options. Also, view

medical records and write prescriptions. This platform allows

to re-schedule or cancel appointments if the doctor gets an emergency.

Questionnaires, interviews, rating and attitude scales, and tests, are the major data-gathering research tools.


Story Board

On the basis of research and observation still, the doctors' clinic process is manual. It is very difficult for them to run their system smoothly.

Storyboards shape the user's journey and the character (persona). It helps designers to connect together personas, user stories, and various research findings to develop requirements for the product. The familiar combination of images and words makes even the most complex ideas clear.

Challenges

1). Segregate the patient lists from the records. 

2). Review their slot & time for the next day's appointments.

3). If he finds any appointments clashing with each other due to any emergency, the appointments can be rescheduled.

4). With the help of the receptionist he can check the cash and online transaction for the day. 

5). Keep a record of all the bills & purchased documents.

Doctor Persona

User Journey Map

A journey map is a visualization of the process that a person goes through in order to accomplish a goal. In its most basic form, journey mapping starts by compiling a series of user actions into a timeline. Next, the timeline is fleshed out with user thoughts and emotions in order to create a narrative.

Empathy Mapping

An empathy map is a collaborative visualization used to articulate what we know about a particular type of user. It externalizes knowledge about users in order to

  • Create a shared understanding of user needs.

  • Aid in decision making.

The affinity diagram is a business tool used to organise ideas and data.

Information Architecture

The information architecture of an app is, basically, the structure of your app’s content. The IA is mainly on the appointment booking, storing previous prescriptions, and, taking into account the patient’s previous medical history ensuring the users should perform a specific task with minimal steps.

A doctor can share & download the report.

A doctor can refer the patients to other experts.

At every phase we should intact with problem and checked at each interval whether it is covering the same problem or not. It is not required all time one has  to knock all the corners at same time.
