Works on Furniture Too

My son's cat loves these gloves. The cat will nudge me and then bite me until I get the hint that he wants to be brushed. He even likes to have his head rubbed with these gloves. These work great for being able to get spots that are normally hard to brush like the tail and the legs. The best part for me is that they also work great on the couch. After removing all previous cat hair from the gloves, I'll put the gloves on my hands and then wipe down the couch. Removes the fur better than anything else I've tried. I still follow with a good vacuuming, but these gloves loosen every last bit of hair from the couch. The hair is easy to remove from the gloves just using your hands, but I find that by using the hose attachment on the vacuum cleaner I can get every last hair out of the gloves.

My cat tolerates the gloves much better than a brush

I have a sweet Maine Coon that sometimes requires a trip to the vet to be professionally groomed and have clumps removed. The cat does not like slicker brushes or combs AT ALL!
I thought I'd give the gloves a try and while not perfect, they are a big improvement over a brush. With a glove on each hand, I can cuddle the cat and work the gloves gently through her fur. It is not a perfect solution but it is the best solution I have found. Well worth the $15 price.

My cat recently was diagnosed with a bad hip. The hip area had become sensitive to the wire brush I use and also, to a lesser extent, the hand held rubber brush. I received the grooming gloves and almost returned them based on first impressions: the glove was large for my hand, it is stiff so it does not maneuver like a bare hand and the prongs felt too hard for my cat's hip. BUT I TRIED IT TODAY AND MY CAT LOVES IT. My goal today was to acclimate may cat to the glove. I wore a glove on one hand and kept my other hand bare because she is used to my bare hands. I started on the bad hip side and she tolerated it longer than my other brushes purring all the time. I DID NOT GET MUCH CAT HAIR but that was not my goal today. I am hopeful.

My cats hate regular brushes but shed like crazy, so this is perfect. It collects a decent amount of fur and it being a glove so you can pet-brush them keeps the cats a lot calmer. The only issue is it’s a little hard to clean the hair off the rubber. Otherwise, love this.

This product was great for getting hair off the cat! Unfortunately it is a little tricky to get the hair out of the glove after. I would buy again. Cat seems to love them. I have a short hair tabby. Love the purple color!
