 Made walking two pullers so much easier

I am a dog walker and have to walk these two very tiny (one is a yorkie, the other isn’t much bigger) dogs but they’re horribly behaved and the owner provided two fabric leashes with harnesses. They pull like crazy and we don’t have treats for them and they’re honestly just not smart enough to train without any sort of reward. I am also not the only one walking them. And not only are we just not provided any of the proper materials to train, (slip collars, treats, the concept of consistency lol etc.) that’s not what we’re paid to do. So these dogs always pull like crazy which with their own leashes cuts off circulation, and they also always twist the leashes. It has been physically painful to walk them. Within 5-10 minutes they’ll be so twisted up I have to unravel them. So I bought this as well as a split leash and I just Keep it fully retracted and locked. It makes walking them a much more bearable experience. I love the dogs when we’re in their home, but as soon as we step outside they are so beyond horribly behaved. Despite them being tiny I bought the heaviest duty in both the retractable leash and the split leash just in case I ever have dogs I’d like to do this with again. I’ll update if anything changes. So far I’m very happy with my purchases.

 How long this leash lasts

I purchased this leash July 6,2022 and today I just received my new tug leach. What went wrong: eventually the “retractable” feature stopped working. But to get the “rope” back into the handle portion of the leach, I just had to tug on the rope itself and it’ll retract. Honestly, I could’ve used it like that a bit longer but I got annoyed with it and bought a new one. Really fantastic leach for any size dog. I have a cavapoo and my sister in law has a golden retriever and we both use Tug. LOVE!

Huge fan of this leash. I have never had a retractable before and my border collie can be a roamer; this gives him that freedom but allows me to keep him close if needed, with the lockout feature. I love the length on the leash extension too!! I actually tie my unused dog baggies around the handle of this leash too, so I always have them on me :)
