Conclusion

The Brown Bonnell District has changed drastically since the mid 1800s. The once booming industrial center has long been replaced by entertainment venues. While there is no longer evidence of its prosperous past, it can never be forgotten. The Brown Bonnell and Company and its workers, the Pennsylvania and Ohio Canal, and the other early features of the district helped to establish Youngstown as a prominent city.
