The research is focused on emerging issues both on VLSI (Very Large Scaled Integration) circuit designs and CAD (Computer Aided Design) for advanced technology nodes. (i.e., 22nm and beyond). Our lab uses many EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools to generate basic semiconductor devices and run circuit simulations and design chips. Particular interests are concerned with the circuit design and technology co-optimization (DTCO) through extensive analysis and modeling of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) area. We are also interested in the neuromorphic circuit designs and TSV-based 3D IC analysis and design. Low-power or low-energy circuit design methodologies are being investigated and SoC (e.g., Automotive) and sensor (e.g., PVT variations or for IoT) logics are designed in our lab.
