In an effort to promote mental health, our team had a community outreach event. Visiting local households, had two purposes: to seek contributions for the Jed Foundation and to advertise our social media campaign through the distribution of flyers. As a gesture of appreciation, we gave freshly baked cookies to all of the people we met. In total, we raised $113 which we donated to the Jed Foundation. While the event was exclusively led by our team, the impact transcended its intimate setting. Meeting new faces and engaging in meaningful conversations added a personal touch to our cause, emphasizing the importance of communal support in the journey toward mental wellness.

We took part in a mental health wellness fair during all lunch periods in our school on April 4th. We showcased the trifold board we created that had information about mental health, anxiety, self-care, and relaxation. Many of our peers stopped by to learn more information about these topics, as well as to check out our campaign. Participants also engaged in some mental and physical wellness games. This was a very fun and relaxing event, and we were so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with clubs from other schools!
