Application Process
The online application should be submitted as soon as possible, but no later than December 2, 2019 at 11:59 PM.
The additional information including letters of recommendation can be emailed to YonseiBasketballAssociation@gmail.com when they are available, but no later than December 2, 2019 at 11:59 PM. Include applicant's first and last name in the Subject line of email.
- Two (2) letters of recommendation*^
- Copy of your most recent 8th Grade transcript, progress report or report card
- Picture of you
- Picture of you AND your parent(s)
- Copy of your birth certificate
- Signed Medical Consent and Injury Waiver (download, print, sign and scan)
*Email two (2) letters of recommendation to YonseiBasketballAssociation@gmail.com no later than December 2, 2019 at 11:59 PM OR
Mail to Yonsei Basketball Association, P. O. Box 449, Cypress, CA 90630 postmarked by December 2, 2019.
^Ask for letters of recommendation at least 2 weeks in advance from adults who know you well - teachers, scout leaders, clergy, etc (not basketball coaches).
Qualified applicants will be notified via email confirming the tryout date. Applicants and parents will also be scheduled for an interview. Applicants will be notified by an email or a telephone call at least one week prior to the interview.
