"After nearly 10 years of being a 'horse mom' and Yolo County 4H Horse Leader and running events, I started to 'really' ride and compete in 2009, training Jager as I did. I have always enjoyed learning about horses, from health issues to how to ride. To date I have competed in Gymkhana, Horse Mastership, Trail Trials, and enjoy a chance to work with cattle, horse camping, or just trail riding. I also judge in trail and obstacle events. I most enjoy when I am able to help someone else with their horse. I joined the Sheriff's Posse in 2015 and we now enjoy parades and PR events too, but plan to pursue Search and Rescue mostly in the future. Jager is a Standard Bred/Paint cross gelding, born in May 2007 and now over 17 horse hands. He certainly shows his breeding with his mellow, sensible and social temperament in regards to all he is asked to do and exposed to. He loves his carrots, apples and horse cookies."
