Each class is guided by the principles of Yoga — the union (yuj) of body, breath, and consciousness. Sanskrit terms are included to honor the roots of the practice. Every session welcomes practitioners of all backgrounds and abilities.
Bring your mat, an open heart, and a willingness to meet yourself where you are.
Move with awareness, breathe with intention, and honor your unique embodiment.
This gentle practice is rooted in Haṭha Yoga, the classical path of balance between Ha (sun) and Ṭha (moon). Each class focuses on mindful movement, prāṇāyāma (breath regulation), and proper āsana (postural alignment) to support mobility, balance, and inner calm.
Every posture is offered with adaptations so that all practitioners — new, returning, or elder — can participate with confidence. Through steady breath and compassionate attention, Gentle Yoga invites sattva (clarity and harmony) into both body and mind.
“Yoga is for every body — at every stage of life. Gentle movement opens the path to strength, steadiness, and peace.”
(Mūla — “root” or “foundation”)
This foundational series introduces the essence of Yoga — āsana (posture), prāṇāyāma (breath), and dhyāna (meditation). Rooted in the teachings of Sage Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtra — Yogaḥ citta-vṛtti-nirodhaḥ (“Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind”) — each class explores mindful movement, conscious breathing, and the deeper philosophy that supports the physical practice.
Students will learn foundational postures with proper alignment, gain an understanding of the history and purpose behind Yoga, and develop awareness of how to adapt each pose to their own body. By the end of the series, you’ll leave with confidence, clarity, and a personalized practice you can continue at home — one that nurtures both body and mind.
“Yoga is not about touching your toes — it’s about touching your inner stillness.”
(Aṣṭāṅga — “eight limbs”)
Aṣṭāṅga Vinyāsa Yoga, as taught by Śrī K. Pattabhi Jois in the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya, has been passed down to me through Śrī M.S. Viśvanāth (Masterji) and Serge Salvador. I hold deep gratitude and reverence for this living guru–śiṣya paramparā (teacher–student lineage).
This dynamic and traditional system links movement (vinyāsa) and breath (ujjāyī prāṇāyāma). Through consistent sequences, bandha (energetic locks), and dṛṣṭi (focused gaze), practitioners cultivate tapas (discipline) and awaken agni (inner fire). The practice purifies the body, steadies the mind, and reveals strength through stillness.
“Through practice, Aṣṭāṅga teaches that strength and stillness are one.”
(Ha — “sun,” Ṭha — “moon”)
Haṭha Yoga is the classical foundation of modern Yoga, uniting body, mind, and breath. Rooted in texts like the Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā, this practice balances solar and lunar energies through āsana, prāṇāyāma, and deep relaxation.
Each session encourages mindful alignment and steady breathing to cultivate sthira sukham āsanam — posture that is both stable and easeful.
“Let your breath be your teacher — rising with the inhale, grounding with the exhale, and returning to stillness.”
(Śithila — “to loosen, to relax”)
A gentle, nurturing practice inspired by Haṭha Yoga’s principle of ahiṃsā (non-harming). Using props such as bolsters and blankets, the body rests in supported āsanas to activate the parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) response.
With sustained postures, gentle prāṇāyāma, and guided yoga nidrā (yogic sleep), Restorative Yoga invites release and restoration — physically, mentally, and energetically.
“Rest is not laziness — it is the art of returning to your natural state of balance.”
Though inspired by modern Yoga, Yin Yoga draws from Daoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine rather than the Indian yogic lineage. This meditative practice involves long-held, passive postures that nourish connective tissues and open energetic pathways (meridians).
Through mindful stillness and deep breathing, Yin cultivates receptivity, patience, and awareness. It complements the active (Yang) styles of Yoga, offering space for restoration and reflection.
“Through stillness, we find depth; through surrender, we discover balance.”
This integrative practice honors both traditions — uniting Yin’s meditative stillness (Daoist-inspired) with the dynamic movement of Haṭha Yoga.
The class begins with flowing Yang sequences to awaken prāṇa (vital energy), followed by long, grounded Yin holds for deep release. Through prāṇāyāma and mindfulness, practitioners explore the balance of Ha (sun) and Ṭha (moon) — effort and surrender, motion and stillness.
“Yoga is the art of balance — between movement and pause, doing and being, strength and surrender.”
Each practice invites you to explore Yoga beyond movement — as a living philosophy that integrates body, breath, and consciousness (śarīra, prāṇa, citta).
All sessions are open to every level. Bring your curiosity, compassion, and willingness to explore. 🌿
(Aṣṭāṅga — “eight-limbed path”)
This transformative series follows the Aṣṭāṅga Mārga — the Eight Limbs of Yoga, as taught by Sage Patañjali in the Yoga Sūtra. Each limb offers guidance for living with awareness, compassion, and purpose — both on and off the mat:
Yama – ethical foundations for harmony with others
Niyama – self-discipline and inner clarity
Āsana – mindful movement and stability
Prāṇāyāma – conscious breath and life-force control
Pratyāhāra – withdrawal of the senses, turning inward
Dhāraṇā, Dhyāna, Samādhi – concentration, meditation, and union
Each class includes philosophical discussion, āsana (Aṣṭāṅga-inspired sequences), prāṇāyāma, and dhyāna (meditation) or reflective journaling.
“Yoga is not a destination — it is the unfolding of awareness that leads us home to ourselves.”
All are welcome — from dedicated practitioners to those beginning their journey into the deeper teachings of Yoga.
(Yama — “restraint, ethical discipline”)
This immersive series explores the first limb of Yoga — the Yamas, guiding principles for living in harmony with self and others:
Ahiṃsā — Non-violence: cultivating compassion in thought and action.
Satya — Truthfulness: speaking and living with honesty and kindness.
Asteya — Non-stealing: contentment and gratitude for what is.
Brahmacarya — Moderation: balancing energy and desire with mindfulness.
Aparigraha — Non-attachment: releasing control and trusting life’s flow.
Each session weaves gentle āsana, breathwork, and guided reflection to help you embody these values in daily life.
“When we live the Yamas, Yoga moves off the mat and into every breath, every choice, every act of love.”
All levels welcome — bring openness, curiosity, and an intention to grow from within.
(Niyama — “observances, personal disciplines”)
Explore the second limb of Yoga — the Niyamas, which cultivate self-discipline and spiritual insight:
Śauca — Purity: clarity of body, mind, and environment.
Santoṣa — Contentment: gratitude and presence in what is.
Tapas — Discipline: the inner fire that fuels growth and transformation.
Svādhyāya — Self-study: reflection and awareness through practice.
Īśvara Praṇidhāna — Surrender: trust and devotion to the greater whole.
Each class integrates āsana, prāṇāyāma, meditation, and reflection, helping you embody these principles on and off the mat.
“Through the Niyamas, Yoga becomes more than movement — it becomes a practice of self-discovery, balance, and harmony.”
AYAMA™ unites the wisdom of Yoga with modern movement science. Through applied anatomy and muscle activation techniques, you’ll learn to identify underactive or overworked muscles, improve alignment, and move with greater efficiency and awareness.
Each class blends mindful sequencing, functional strength, and prāṇāyāma to awaken neuromuscular balance and joint stability.
“When you understand the body, every pose becomes a conversation — not a struggle.”
All levels welcome — especially supportive for injury recovery, stability training, and refining alignment within Yoga practice.
Cakra (Sanskrit: “wheel” or “energy center”) refers to the subtle energy hubs described in classical yogic texts such as the Ṣaṭcakra Nirūpaṇa and Yoga Śikha Upaniṣad. This class offers a guided journey through the seven primary cakras that influence our physical, emotional, and spiritual balance.
Each cakra corresponds to specific qualities and elements within the subtle body:
Mūlādhāra – Root: Stability, grounding, and the earth element
Svādhiṣṭhāna – Sacral: Creativity, joy, and the water element
Maṇipūra – Solar Plexus: Willpower, confidence, and the fire element
Anāhata – Heart: Compassion, love, and the air element
Viśuddha – Throat: Expression, truth, and the ether element
Ājñā – Third Eye: Intuition, clarity, and mental insight
Sahasrāra – Crown: Awareness, transcendence, and connection to pure consciousness
Through traditional yogic techniques, we’ll explore:
Āsana (postures) to activate and align energy centers
Prāṇāyāma (breathwork) to refine the flow of prāṇa
Dhyāna (meditation) to cultivate inner awareness
Visualization and mantra to attune to each cakra’s symbolic and energetic qualities
Whether you're new to yoga or deepening your practice, this class offers a supportive space to explore the subtle body and restore harmony. Rooted in ancient wisdom, Cakra Yoga is a journey inward — aligning the energy that guides body, breath, and mind.
(Kośa — “sheath” or “layer”)
According to yogic philosophy, the pañca kośa describe five concentric layers that veil the true Self (Ātman):
Annamaya Kośa – the physical body (anna, food sheath)
Prāṇamaya Kośa – the breath and energy body
Manomaya Kośa – the mental–emotional body
Vijñānamaya Kośa – the wisdom–intuition body
Ānandamaya Kośa – the bliss body, our pure essence
This practice blends āsana, prāṇāyāma, meditation, and awareness to help you explore each layer — from the tangible to the transcendent.
“When we journey through the kośas, we remember that wholeness was never lost — only waiting to be uncovered.”
All levels welcome.
Discover the wisdom of Yoga through ancient story and mindful movement.

“Yoga is a story written in breath and movement — and each of us is invited to live it.”
All levels welcome.
