Patricia’s yoga journey began in 2008, when she first discovered the harmony of movement, breath, and stillness. What started as a simple class at a work conference soon became a lifelong path of self-discovery and service.
Shortly after a health scare, realizing a lifestyle change was needed the world slowed down and Patricia embraced the opportunity for deep growth. She completed her PN1 Nutrition Certification with Precision Nutrition and, in 2021 continued on the journey earning her 200-hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher certification through Yoga Public Teacher Training Academy. Training in fitness and functional anatomy coaching, Applied Yoga Anatomy & Muscle Activation, CrossFit judging (2023, 2025). holds First Aid and CPR certifications and is currently working towards an 800-hour Yoga Therapy Certification accredited by Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapists through the Canmore Counselling Trauma-Informed Yoga Psychology School. Her studies include Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy, Yoga Nidra, Pre & Post Natal, and Yoga for Kids & Teens, Nada Yoga, Ashtanga, and she is training at the Manitoba Emergency Services College to support her role as a rural firefighter.
In January 2026, Patricia will deepen her practice in India through the Living Bhakti Yoga Tour—a transformative journey into the spiritual heart of yoga. Immersed in temple chants, sacred rituals, and centuries-old traditions, she will explore Bhakti (devotion) not just as a practice, but as a way of life—an experience that will further enrich her teaching and understanding of yoga’s roots.
Patricia’s classes are empathetic, inclusive, and rooted in the traditional teachings of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga, guided by the Yamas and Niyamas. Her trauma-informed approach welcomes all bodies and abilities, creating space for healing, connection, and growth. With calm and mindful guidance, she helps students connect body, mind, and spirit—offering more than movement, but a path to presence.
Her goal is to help you experience the true meaning of yoga—a state of union, awareness, and balance within yourself and the world around you. For Patricia, yoga is not about perfection; it’s about connection, compassion, and living with purpose both on and off the mat.
Through Yogi in Nature, Patricia offers holistic services, meaningful experiences, and handmade products that bring mind, body, spirit, and environment into harmony. Her mission is simple: to help you feel good, live well, and find peace—naturally.
