If your child loves to create & design, art classes are a wonderful way to develop their creative talents! Each art lesson will teach an element of art (e.g., color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value) and/or principle of design (e.g., contrast, balance, emphasis, proportion, hierarchy, repetition, rhythm, pattern, white space, movement, variety, and unity). Children will also be introduced to diverse art mediums such as oil pastels, chalk pastels, tempera paint, watercolor paint, and clay. The time spent in art class is primarily meant to nurture artistic & self expression, enhance self-esteem, and enjoy social time with other artists.

All art classes are taught by a certified FLDOE Art Educator.
