Hi I'm Grace! I qualified as a yoga teacher in July 2025, but my journey with yoga started long before that. As someone who has struggled with anxiety, I discovered how deeply yoga can calm the mind and bring a sense of balance and peace. I wanted to share that experience with others, to create a space where anyone can feel supported and encouraged. You don’t have to be “good” at yoga to practice it — it’s not about perfect poses or standing on your head. Yoga teaches us gentle life lessons: patience, self-compassion, and being present in the moment. My classes are a calm, welcoming space where you can move at your own pace and simply be yourself. Each week I focus on a certain topic so we are able to explore this in more detail through gentle and restorative movement.
Would be lovely to see you there!
"I'm a total novice when it comes to yoga and Grace was very welcoming and non-judgemental from the start!
The pace of the class was good, wasn't too quick that you had no clue what was happening, but also wasn't too slow. Grace also made sure I was doing the right postures and gave different levels of difficulty, encouraging you to have a go, even if you look a little silly! I had a fun, relaxing session with Grace - I came away feeling refreshed and happier ☺️"
"I can’t recommend Yoga with Grace more! Grace has such a warm, welcoming presence. She explains everything she is doing, giving alternative options for all abilities. I leave feeling relaxed and refreshed after every class. Whether you are a novice or yogi, Yoga with Grace is great for all! 🧘🏻"
"I absolutely loved this yoga class! The atmosphere was so calm and welcoming, and the guidance throughout the session made it easy to relax and really connect with the practice. Each pose was explained clearly, with options to suit all levels, which made it feel accessible yet still challenging in the best way. I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and lighter in both body and mind. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nurturing yoga space. I’ll definitely be coming back!"
"The session with Grace was fabulous from the off set. She was so friendly and welcoming and made me feel at ease straight away. I haven’t had much experience with Yoga but wanted to give it a try. She adapted poses and moves to suit my ability and so I never once felt out of my depth or uncomfortable. The atmosphere was so relaxed and the benefits were incredible. I will definitely be back :)"
"First time doing a Yoga class. Easy to follow as a beginner. Grace has a calming teaching style. I was able to complete the class even as a beginner and found the experience very zen! Would recommend."

In my Wintering Era
Wintering is a time to rest, to simply be!
The traditional year starts on the 1st January. However, the astrological new year begins at the Spring Equinox which is around 20-21st March. This is when day and night are equal, symbolising rebirth, growth and new beginnings, which also mirrors what we see in nature. In January nature is still “wintering”, so why aren’t we?
January is a time of rest, reflection and drawing inwards. However, our modern society often moves in the exact opposite direction to nature and our bodies rhythm. We feel like come 1st January we should have our whole year already figured out, setting resolutions that we break only two weeks later, when our energy is already low. We also spend so much time indoors we become disconnected from nature with artificial light, fixed schedules, dulling our seasonal awareness. We get into a mindset that rest is laziness rather than a necessary phase of inner growth, as well as social media amplifies our urge to transform, improve and achieve goals instantly. Together, all of these patterns encourage us to push forward, creating burnout before the year has even truly begun- when our bodies want us to pause, reflect and find stillness. So the question is, how do we achieve this?
It can be challenging to simply change your natural behaviour as it is installed in us to be productive, achieve goals and tick off our to do list. We can still do all of this, but at a much slower pace. Honour rest as productive and not necessary. Spend time in quiet, even if it feels unfamiliar at first. Reflect, rather than plan- this will long-term help your productivity. Nourish your body with warm simple foods, like a homemade soup! Create earlier nights and soften mornings where possible (I’m still working on this one!). Reduce stimulation, put your phone away two hours before bed to stop instant scrolling. Instead, tend to your inner world through journaling, meditation, warm baths or prayer. Say no to things that don't instantly light you up, protect your boundaries. Trust that growth is not always visible! Finally, practise self-compassion instead of self-improvement and know that returning to yourself is the work of wintering!
