We made a clay solution from sterilized soil, mixing it with distilled water. We placed this solution in a test tube holder made of LEGO. 

We put the drawing solution and Petri dishes with agar into the glove box and sterilized it. Then we simply dipped the toothpick into the solution and drew on the agar.

Inside our glove box, we sealed the Petri dishes to prevent contamination of the agar and stored them on a shelf with a time-lapse camera. Now we just have to let the bacteria grow!
