Technology

The goal of the Technology course is to help children nurture problem-solving skills, logic, and creativity. By starting from Kindergarten, students will have a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path.

Grades K and 1 is focusing on learning the different parts of the computer and how to use technology effectively.

Grade 2-3 is focusing on typing skills and using different tools in word processing programs. As students progress with their basic skills, they also learn Internet Safety in the lessons.

Grade 4-5 is focussing on integrating all the basic computer tools in all subject areas, such as Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Form. Students also start to learn to code and do simple animation projects. For the Internet Safety topic, 5th graders are presenting live lessons to lower grades which puts students in charge of their learning.
