MetafrasisPLus is a macOS localization tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
The app may process localization content from files you open (such as .xcloc bundles), translation text, and provider configuration data required for app functionality.
When you enter API keys (for example, DeepL or OpenAI), keys are stored locally in your macOS Keychain. We do not intentionally store your API keys in plaintext files.
If you choose API-based translation, selected text may be sent to third-party services (such as DeepL, OpenAI, or LM Studio endpoints) according to your settings. Their privacy policies apply to that data processing.
The app may store local workspace/session cache and translation memory data on your Mac to support your workflow. You can clear local cache from app settings.
MetafrasisPLus does not use advertising trackers. If analytics are added in future versions, this policy will be updated.
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with providers you explicitly configure and use.
The app is intended for developers and productivity use, not for children.
