Using Madiba's wisdom, we have developed the Young Entrepreneurship Project to introduce Grade 10 learners to the concept of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This project has been initiated by Hogeschool Utrecht (Netherlands) and is managed by Stellenbosch University (South Africa). During 2018 and 2019, we delivered this course in person, on campus to schools surrounding Stellenbosch. With the onset of COVID-19, we recognized the potential of expanding this offering to an online platform (YEP:BOOST) to the benefit of schools across South Africa.

The course consists out of two phases, namely (1) Education Phase and (2) Competition Phase. The coursework for Phase 1 will be developed by honors students at Stellenbosch University's Education Department, where after the mentorship and guidance for Phase 2 will be conducted by a team of students from Stellenbosch University's Faculty of Management Sciences and Hogeschool Utrecht.
