本研究室自1999年4月開始成立，實驗室主持人為長庚大學醫學生物技術暨檢驗學系顏秀娟博士/教授。本實驗室主要研究方向為自由基生物醫學領域、粒線體生物醫學領域、及此二領域有緊密關連之研究課題。另外，本研究室之研究內涵包含臨床醫學及基礎醫學。本研究室名稱原為自由基生物學實驗室，自2010年起，我們將其改名為自由基暨粒線體醫學研究室。

This laboratory starts from April 1999.  The principal investigator is Hsiu-Chuan Yen, Ph.D. (professor) at Department of Medical Biotechnology and Laboratory Science, Chang Gung University.  The main research direction of this laboratory is belonged to the fields of Free Radical Biology and Medicine, Mitochondrial Biology and Medicine, and the highly interactive topics of these two fields.  On the other hand, the research content includes both clinical medicine and basic medical sciences.  The name of laboratory was originally “Laboratory of Free Radical Biology” and it is changed to “Free Radical & Mitochondrial Medicine Laboratory” from 2010.
