Learning Intention: To compose a draft of an imaginative piece of writing that engages the respective audience by incorporating perspective and creating an engaging plot whilst also considering grammatical features, punctuation and vocabulary.
Lesson Overview
During lesson 2, you will share your Ozobot creations in small groups. You will then use the worksheet you did your plan on from last lesson to create start writing. You will apply your knowledge of text and paragraph structure, language features and punctuation to create an engaging imaginative piece of writing about our space adventure by the end of this lesson.
Task Instructions
Activity 1: Ozobot (20 minutes)
Get into groups of 3.
Grab an Ozobot from the front of the classroom.
Take turns in presenting your story plan to your group using the pathway created last lesson and and the Ozobot.
Provide feedback to your peers of what you liked about their story and if there is anything they could improve on.

Activity 2: Imaginative writing (30 minutes)
Now that you have mastered your plan, it is time to write!Â
Collect your writing book, your planning worksheet from last lesson.
Read the feedback your teacher has left for you on your planning sheet and look at the criteria found below.
Open to the next page of your writing book.
Start writing your space adventure story based off your plan and writing criteria.
Remember to use the detailed description from the viewpoint of an astronaut throughout your imaginative that was brainstormed last lesson.
