The purpose of this project was to demonstrate our understanding of rapid prototyping via CAD and directly translate these prototypes to a real-life model built using a Meccano kit.
We were tasked to build a walking autonomous rikshaw, a pulled vehicle intended for taxi-like services across cities, for real-life customers. In order to achieve customer satisfaction, these were all conducted in our report;
Patent survey
House of Quality (HOQ)
Design for X (DFX)
Cost analysis
I was tasked to complete the 3D CAD model via Solidworks and to build the real-life model via Meccano kit, as well as prepare the presentation and aid in finishing the design aspects/customer satisfaction of the report.
A detailed video created through SolidWorks motion simulation to showcase my final design and assembly.
I took a deeper look into the wonders of PowerPoint and created an entirely animated presentation that can only do one thing and that's to blow you away!
The presentation covers all aspects;
Design
Prototpying
The problem
FINAL DESIGN AND VIDEOS
Our professional report thoroughly evaluated in depth all aspects of design, guaranteed customer satisfaction, CAD Drawings, Bill of Materials, Parts Lists
Dive into my mind and learn how I brainstormed and thought out all my ideas to create this project and an IN-DEPTH prototyping process in both CAD and Mecanno.
