1. What was the main idea or message behind your animation, and how effectively do you think you communicated it visually?
My main idea was to do my animation based off one of my favorite anime's.
2. Which After Effects tools or techniques did you use most successfully, and which ones did you struggle with?
I liked the 'pin point' I think I used that one pretty good. At first I struggled a bit trying to use opacity.
3. How did you plan and organize your workflow to complete a polished 10-second animation within the given time?
I just planned to get it done before the due date. I was able to finish editing in PS in the first half of the week while also starting in AE in that same week too.
4. Describe a challenge you encountered during production (e.g., timing, rendering, effects) and how you solved or adapted to it.
Multiple times I had to adjust the points. I wanted them farther apart so the animation wouldn't go too fast. Also redoing the pin points a few times till I got it how I wanted it.
5. If you had more time or could redo this project, what changes or improvements would you make to strengthen your animation?
I would try to improve on the background, maybe make the characters move more and better.
I ended up with my initials look like a butterfly. Mostly just butterfly wings.
I decided on this final design because my name means small butterfly and I thought it would make sense.
I think it does because I like to do things based of what I like or what could be me.
