Training, in and out of the water, is closely guided under the professional instruction of Alon Kaplan.

We focus on improving technique and we have fun doing it.

The summer windsurfing clinics take place in Greece - on the islands of Crete, Kos and Rhodes.

The focus is on all the basic techniques, from beginners to perfect free-riders. 

Other destinations around the world are The Dominican Republic and The Canary Islands, for advanced windsurfers. The focus is on wave riding and strong wind sailing (These clinics don't have a regular schedule).

Clinics in Israel take place in a few spots, like Eilat (Red Sea), Lake Kinneret (Sea Of Galilee) and Dor beach on the Mediterranean. These clinics are shorter and set by the forecast.

About the locations

Cabarete, Dominican Republic 

(No clinic in 2026)

Cabarete is a surfing village lying on a beautiful bay. Here we can do all kinds of surfing - windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and sup, all in the bay or in a short distance.

Wind - start light in the morning and picking up through the day, up to 20-25 knots. Normal wind is side-shore from the right.

Waves - on winter time the waves can be big, depends on the winter storms coming from the North Atlantic. On summer time there are no swells, only wind waves. The waves break on a reef, about 800 meters from the beach. Inside the bay, the waves are not breaking and allow a free-ride sailing for all windsurfing levels.

Accommodation - studios, apartments, hotels in any level - all in a walking distance from the beach and the windsurfing center.

Level - intermediate, advanced, ready for wave sailing.

Details - wave sailing clinic! Including light wind technique, passing the shore break, finding the way out and in through the waves and wave riding.

Prasonisi, Rhodes, Greece

Prasonisi is one of the best windsurfing spots in Europe. A sandbar divides the beach to 2 areas - flat water on one side and breaking waves on the other.

The clinic is on the flat side - perfect for all windsurfing techniques including water-start and strong wind technique.

Wind - blowing all day. Lighter in the morning and strong in the afternoon.

Waves - flat

Accommodation - Prasonisi Club in the nearest village - Kattavia. Other accommodations around the area are available on direct booking.

Kefalos, Kos, Greece

Kefalos is a small village in the south of the island of Kos. Charming and quiet even on the busiest months of the summer.

restaurants and accommodations are right on the beach. Windsurfing conditions are good for all levels - beginners to intermediate and free-riders who are looking for long distance high speed rides.

Wind - blowing all day and offshore. Light in the morning and stronger in the afternoon.

Waves - flat

Accommodation - studios, apartments and hotels. On the beach and on the back side. Most of them in walking distance from the windsurfing center.

Kouremenos, Crete, Greece

Kouremenos beach is on the eastern edge of Crete. Sandy beach with palm trees and crystal clear waters... beautiful place, uncrowded and with great windsurfing conditions for all levels.

Wind - blowing all day, side-shore from the left.  Light in the morning and stronger in the afternoon.

Waves - flat near the beach and choppy a further out.

Accommodation - studios and small hotels on the beach and in the nearby village - Palekastro.

Windsurfing center - Gone Surfing 

The clinic:

Level - intermediate, advanced

Details - basic technique in light wind - tack, jibe, beach start, using the harness and more + strong wind technique - water start, planning, jibe.

Karpathos, Greece

(No clinic in 2026)

Karpathos is between Crete and Rhodes, right between the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean. 

 A windy island with great windsurfing conditions, especially for the strong wind lovers.

At Chickcen Bay the wind a bit less and with an enclosed bay and the shallow waters, the windsurfing conditions are for all levels. 

Wind - blowing all day, off-shore, 25-30 knots in avarage.

Waves - flat. Outside is choppy, but during the clinic we don't sail out there.

Accommodation - studios and small hotels on the beach and in the main town of the island, about 15 kilometers from the beach.

Windsurfing center - Karpathos Surf Club 

The clinic:

Level - intermediate, advanced

Details - strong wind technique - water start, planning, foot straps + basic technique - tack, jibe, beach start, using the harness and more.

Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain

The Canary Islands are known for the strong winds, especially in the summer season.

The clinic in Lanzarote is a wave clinic, hoping for the swells that come from the Atlantic and break smoothly on the reef outside Las Cucharas bay, with the moderate wind of the spring.

wind - trade wind from the left. Lighter in the morning and picking up in the afternoon, around 20 knots.

waves - Shore break on the entrance , no breaking waves in the bay, reef breaks outside. The waves break smoothly, even when they're big.

The waves are comfortable and good for practicing and learning wave riding, even with no experience.

accommodation - apartments and hotels within walking distance from the beach.

windsurfing center - Windsurfing Club Las Cucharas

Level - intermediate, advanced, ready for wave sailing.

Details - wave sailing clinic! Including light wind technique, passing the shore break, finding the way out and in through the waves, and wave riding.

1. Dor Beach - winter 2026

Dates by the conditions.

Focus on water-start, planning, sailing in off-shore winds (and flat water).

Price - 100 / 150 NIS per day.  (private equipment / my equipment)

2. Eilat, Red Sea

Dates - December 2025-March 2026 (Saturday, Sunday, Monday. By the forecast)

Focus on planning, tack, jibe. 

Winter in Eilat with nice and warm weather.

Price  - 1 day - 500  NIS / 2 days - 900 NIS / 3 days - 1050 NIS. Including equipment and instructions.
