My ongoing love for water sports began when I was a child in the early 1980's. I have enjoyed passing it on to others since then...
My instruction is based on precise and flowing moves that will make your surfing easy and fun, right from the first steps.

Lessons
Lessons
The lessons take place in Nahsholim Sailing Club (map attached below).
The beach is protected by an enclosed bay that provides good conditions for beginners and intermediate windsurfers on most days.
The equipment is right on the beach, rigged and ready to go.
Advanced lessons and equipment are available in other beaches, depend on the conditions and my availability.
Surfing lessons and trainigs - on the reef in the bay (intermediate and advanced), or in the open beach near by - a sandy beach with safe and comfortable conditions for beginners.
SUP trips - in Habonim Nature Reserve - the most beautiful and interesting coast line in Israel, with some small bays, caves and a ship wrack.
The lesson structure will make your windsurfing / surfing / sup experince enjoyable and effortless, by combining both learning and practice. Lessons average around two hours, allowing for unhurried practice and learning.
No need to check your watch... progress is not measured in minutes.

Advanced and beginners windsurfing group (grade 7 and up):
Tuesdays - 3:00-5:00 PM in Nachsholim Sailing & Surfing club.
Price: 330 NIS / month
Windsurfing group also includes surfing and SUP, depends on the wind and sea conditions.
Beginners and advanced are on the same time, with some instructors covering all levels.
Summer holiday - July & August:

Lessons and practices in Nachsholim beach, Sunday to Friday, 10:00-18:00.

Lessons
Private or in a small group lessons are available by appointment. The average lesson lasts about 2 hours.
Practice
Practice is an important part of your progress, allowing you to perfect what you have learned.
A combination of lessons and practice is the ideal route to success.
SUP trips
In the beautiful and interesting Habonim Nature Reserve. About 2 hours trips in the small bays, caves and clear waters.
We go on the trips only when the conditions are good - calm sea and light wind. Easy paddeling for all levels!

The Autumn season - the months of October - November - December provides great windsurfing conditions on the Israeli Mediterranean shores. It's a great time to start windsurfing and to work on improving your skills.
Conditions can vary from side-shore to off-shore winds with flat to choppy waters, and even some winter storms with good wave-riding conditions in some spots.
Weather is usually pleasant - warm water and clear blue skies.
Great conditions for all windsurfing levels!

Born 1969 in kibbutz Ginosar by Lake Kinneret (Sea Of Galilee), Alon has been an active participant in water sports since childhood:
Competitive swimmer, ages 9-11
Sailing and competing, in the 420 class, 1982-1988
Windsurfing since 1984
Diving instructor, 1994-2000
Windsurfing instructor since 1995
Certified sailing instructor ("Wingate" institute), 1997
Surfing since 2000
Instructing in the Yamia sailing and surfing school in Maagan Michael, Israel 1997-2013
Competing in "storm rider" 2005-2010 (wave riding competition on the biggest winter storm of the year)
Organizing and instructing windsurfing vacations and clinics around the world since 2007
