Fill out the Google Form provided (Read the guidelines below before filling out the form).
Each participant should only submit the abstract once using their official institute email ID. If necessary, the application form can be edited.
Ensure that all details are filled accurately before submission.
Abstracts should be uploaded in the format specified on the website.
Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.
Note: Incomplete or multiple registrations from the same participant will not be considered.
Structure: Every abstract, regardless of the track, should follow this format:
Background: State the purpose and objectives of your research, the hypothesis tested, or describe the problem being analysed or evaluated.
Methods: Specify the observation period or simulation run time, the instruments/telescopes or datasets used, the study location (if observational), and the data analysis or computational methods applied.
Results: Present your findings as clearly and in as much detail as possible. Summarise specific measurements, detections, trends, or theoretical outcomes.
Conclusions: Explain the significance of your results for understanding phenomena, advancing theory, or improving observational/analytical techniques, and discuss possible future implications or follow-up work.
Formatting: Use a standard font to avoid character corruption during online submission. Always preview the abstract before final submission to check for errors or missing symbols.
Word Limits:
Title: Maximum 25 words (do not use ALL CAPS).
Abstract body: Maximum 250 words.
Recommendations:
Present primary results; avoid vague statements such as “experiments in progress” or “results will be discussed.”
Use standard abbreviations; when introducing a new or unusual abbreviation, write the full term first followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
Do not include graphs or references in the abstract.
Selection Process: The Scientific Committee will make the final decision on accepted abstracts. Attempts to influence the review process will not be considered.
Presentation Type: Abstracts may be chosen for oral or poster presentation. If you prefer not to give an oral presentation, indicate this when submitting.
All contributed oral presentations are allocated 12 minutes for the talk, 3 minutes for Q&A, and 1 minute for changeover. Please prepare your presentations accordingly.
All talks will be presented using the laptops provided by the LOC at the venue.
Please ensure ahead of time that there are no technical issues when copying and playing your presentation on the provided laptops. At the minimum, please arrive in the lecture hall about 15 min prior to the start of the session to check these aspects.
The posters need to be printed in A0 size paper with portrait orientation.
Each Poster should contain the Abstract ID of the participant.
Each poster board will have the Participant's name and/or Abstract ID as given in the list of Selected Abstracts.
All the poster presenters are requested to put up their poster as per the details mentioned on the poster board.
