All Tuesday Trove Classes start March 10 and run through May 5th (8 weeks)
NO Classes Monday, April 6th - Friday, April 10th for Spring Break
We will also be offering Art Class on Mondays at 3:30pm-5:00 pm (starting March 9, 2026)
Chess Club will be Mondays too (same start date.)

Fridays at Franklin: Homeschool PE and Pickleball! (Starts Friday, March 6th)
SPRING registration opens Tuesday, February 17th at 8am and closes February 24 (or when full).

CLASS SIZES ARE LIMITED
Families are encouraged to bring lunch and stay for fellowship after classes end for the day.
DRAMA (4th - 12th)
8-week taught by Lavinia Robinson
10 to 11:50am (2 hour class) $5 per student.
In this class students will have fun exploring the art of theatre! To start the class off they will play fun theatre games that will develop skills to help with memory, thinking quickly and working together. They will then learn about basic fundamentals of acting such as stage presence, blocking, and projecting your voice. They will also learn about character development while working on monologues and short skits to perform later on.
**This class will require working well in a group and the ability to follow directions. Please make sure your child has these abilities before signing up.

HOME ECONOMICS (4th -12th)
8-week home economics class taught by Jammie Apodaca
10 to 11:50am (2 hour class) $5 per student.

We will be engaging in hands-on activities such as Menu planning, Cooking, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sewing, Budgeting all while staying focused on God at the center. When your kids are at home these may feel like chores, but as they begin to learn Home Economics they will see themselves as a TEAM member in the home." - Teacher Jammie
**emphasis on Spring 2026 will be planning and executing our Spring Fundraiser/Showcase May 5th for CAPE! Each week we will be working on a part of fundraising with a few fun things mixed in.
You can't have all work without a few FUN AND GAMES, lol!

Art Class
CAPE is planning to offer Art Classes

WHAT: Art Class taught by Julia Wullabbs
WHEN: Mondays, 3:30 - 5:00 PM, beginning March 9th.
WHERE: Tieton Bible Church
WHO: CAPE Members age 5 and up (no preschoolers)
COST: $100 per student (includes 8 classes and materials)

LIMIT: We have a 40 student limit.
Registration will close when we reach 40 students.

CAPE Chess Club is open to CAPE members 3rd grade and higher.
Kids will have fun learning the fundamentals of chess and will be
encouraged to play chess with others to improve their chess playing abilities.
We will meet on Mondays from 3:30 to 5:00, beginning March 9th.
at Tieton Bible Chapel in Yakima.

Homeschool PE
This 8-week homeschool PE class, led by homeschool moms
is open to all students ages 5 through high school.
Our PE class will be Friday mornings at Franklin Park (new location!)
There is no cost for this class and it is open to all CAPE students.
Parent volunteers are encouraged to help.

Pickleball
This 8-week pickleball class, taught by Randy Brown, CAPE homeschool dad, is open to all students ages 9 to 18.
Our pickleball class will be Friday mornings at Franklin Park.
There is no cost for this class and it is open to all CAPE students.
Class size limit: 12
Fridays 8:45 to 9:45am
(note: this class begins 15 minutes earlier than Homeschool PE)

LET'S GET BUGGY!
INCREDIBLE INSECTS
(Pre-K to 4th)
taught by Christine Cole
11 to 11:50am $5 per student.
This class will teach students about the most common insects in our area.
We will have many activities, games, crafts and discussions throughout this class. A couple classes will involve guest speakers coming in, teaching us about honeybees and microscope usage.
