In the creation of the course, an emphasis was placed on a thoughtful and effective design process.
The journey commenced with a meticulous focus on outlining clear learning objectives. These objectives were central to shaping the course's content and ensuring its alignment with the desired learning outcomes.
This design process was driven by a commitment to learner-centricity, ensuring that the microlearning course provides a valuable and transformative educational experience.
Before developing the course content, I created a written storyboard, in Microsoft Word to visualize the flow of the learner experience and ensure that the course was well-structured and engaging. Each module's content was outlined, detailing the narrative flow, key points, and interactive elements. This textual blueprint served as the foundation for the visual and interactive aspects of the course, ensuring that every piece of information was strategically placed for maximum comprehension and engagement. I then created a visual prototype based on the written storyboard.
I began by gathering relevant content. I conducted a comprehensive search and evaluation of legacy content resources, educational materials, and industry best practices. I also drew on my personal expertise.
I scoured various sources, including online articles, eLearning platforms, and industry reports, to collect a diverse range of insights and strategies related to content transformation.
My goal was to curate a rich pool of information that would align with the course's objectives and provide learners with valuable, real-world knowledge and skills.
I organized, synthesized, and adapted the collected content to fit the microlearning format, ensuring that it addressed the specific learning objectives of the course.
