Initial Design
Initially, I received a script for the voiceover and analyzed it to identify the key steps involved in converting an old PowerPoint presentation to a new template. Once I had a good understanding of the process, I created a storyboard to visualize the flow of the screen recording. This helped me to ensure that the video would be well-organized and easy to follow. Finally, I recorded the voiceover.

I created a detailed plan for the screen recording tutorial that will help ensure that it is informative, engaging, and easy to follow.
The storyboard included a title slide, a slide that provides an overview of the process, a series of slides that walk the viewer through each step of the process in sequence, a slide that provides tips for adjusting the slide layout and content, updating the text and graphical elements, and adjusting the master slides, and a slide that reminds the viewer to review and finalize the presentation before saving it in the new template format.

Once I had the voiceover, I began to develop the screen recording. I screen-recorded the PowerPoint presentation, following the storyboard and voiceover. I also used Scribe to scribe the screenshots and voiceover. This helped me to create a more engaging and informative video. Finally, I merged the screen recording and the voiceover using Camtasia. This resulted in a high-quality video that was both informative and visually appealing.
