Today, we’re sharing some nearer-term research: wrist-based input combined with usable but limited contextualized AI, which dynamically adapts to you and your environment. Later this year, we’ll address some groundbreaking work in soft robotics to build comfortable, all-day wearable devices and give an update on our haptic glove research. 

SpaceTop :
integrating 2D and spatial 3D interactions in a see through desktop environment. 

It extends the traditional desktop interface with interaction technology and visualization techniques that enable seamless transitions between 2D and 3D manipulations. SpaceTop allows users to type, click, draw in 2D, and directly manipulate interface elements that float in the 3D space above the keyboard. 

“ART PERFORMANCE" IN COEX    Made by d'strict 

아나몰픽은 ‘일그러져 보이는 상’이라는 뜻으로, 착시 현상을 활용해 입체감을 구현하는 표현 기법이다. 어떤 시점에서 입체적으로 보이게 하기 위해 하나의 방향으로 홀쭉하게 그리는 기법으로, 평면으로 펼쳐 그린 주사위 그림이 방향을 돌렸을 때 실제 주사위처럼 보이는 착시 미술을 떠올릴 수 있다. 디스트릭트는 이 원리를 이용해 두 면 안에 가상의 공간을 만들어 파도가 치는 모습을 연출했다. 

Student Builds Volumetric 3D TV  

It was only when Jessen stumbled across a short video of a KinectPV2 point cloud recording of two people dancing in real-time, that they realized this type of technology could be used to create a volumetric 3D television capable of showing live images.

In a video posted to Reddit, Jessen can be seen controlling a tabletop-sized 3D hologram in real-time using a motion-tracking sensor.
