Welcome to My Website
I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University. Before joining McGill in January 2016 as an Assistant Professor, I was a postdoctoral associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology working with Prof. Konstantin Turitsyn. I received my Ph.D. degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University in January 2015 with a minor in Applied Mathematics. My advisor was Prof. Hsiao-Dong Chiang. I received my M.Eng. degree from the same school at Cornell University in 2011 and B.S. degree from the Department of Information Science & Electronic Engineering at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2010.
To Prospective Students:
I am always looking for highly motivated graduate students with strong mathematical backgrounds. If my research sounds interesting to you, please fill out the application form, apply to McGill officially before the deadline, and indicate me as a preferred supervisor. Students can only be admitted through the official application pool. I may start reviewing the applications after the departmental application deadline. If you are a serious applicant, again, please apply to McGill officially. My apologies for not being able to reply to all your inquiries through email. Also, please check the following fellowship opportunities and feel free to let me know if you would like to work with me under any of the programs.
