Excursions

26th August, Wednesday

We will head towards the Pūčkoriai mound, where we’ll explore the beautiful surrounding nature, visit small streams and other scenic natural spots, and have plenty of opportunities to sit down, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee.

We will go there at 5:10 PM from Vilnius University’s Life Sciences Centre (Saulėtekio ave. 7). The planned return time is 7:00 PM.

It will be a relaxed evening walk surrounded by nature, with time to enjoy the scenery and good company.

27th August, Thursday

We will meet at 3:00 PM by the Bell Tower in Cathedral Square. You can easily reach the meeting point from the “Nemenčinės plentas” bus/trolleybus stop by taking trolleybus No. 2.

From there, we will begin a guided walk through Vilnius Old Town, exploring its charming streets, historic buildings, and beautiful landmarks. The tour will finish at around 5:00 PM.

After the tour, we will meet again for Social Dinner and continue the evening together.

29th August, Saturday

We will depart from the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre at 9:00 AM, so please meet us at the Vincas Kudirka Square (next to the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre) bus stop at 8:50 AM.

A full day of exploration awaits! During the trip, we will visit the Jurkiškis Stream Educational Trail, the Ethnocosmology Museum, the Anykščiai Treetop Walking Path, and the historic town of Trakai, including its famous castle located on an island in the middle of the lake.

We are planning to return to Vilnius at around 7:00 PM.
