Thank you for your interest in The Google Data Analytics Pipeline! This course focuses on the most accessible tools for data automation: Google Forms, Sheets, and Looker Studio. We will teach you how to turn raw data into meaningful insights through fully automated, interactive dashboards. Whether you're a beginner or looking to master end-to-end data workflows, this course is designed to help you harness the full potential of the Google Data Stack. By the end, you’ll be able to collect data efficiently, process it with advanced logic, and share professional, real-time reports with Looker Studio.
This curriculum is designed to be hands-on, with each day building toward a fully automated data ecosystem.
Focus: Mastering the "Ask" and "Prepare" phases.
Day 1: The Pipeline Blueprint: Understanding how Google Forms, Sheets, and Looker Studio connect.
Day 2: Advanced Google Forms: Building logic branching (if yes, go to section 2) and file upload fields.
Day 3: Clean Data Entry: Setting up Response Validation in Forms to prevent bad data from entering your pipeline.
Day 4: Forms to Sheets: Setting up the destination sheet, handling multiple form versions, and data timestamping.
Day 5: Structuring for Scale: Learning "Tabular Format"—why your data needs to be in rows and columns, not "human-readable" summaries.
Focus: Cleaning, transforming, and automating logic.
Day 6: The Cleaner’s Toolkit: Using TRIM, PROPER, UPPER, and CLEAN to standardize text data.
Day 7: Advanced Logic: Mastering Nested IF statements and IFS for categorizing data automatically.
Day 8: Connectivity with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP: Merging your form data with external reference tables (e.g., matching a Product Name to its Cost).
Day 9: Dynamic Arrays: Introduction to the QUERY function—the most powerful tool in Sheets for filtering data.
Day 10: Pivot Table Mastery: Summarizing form responses by date, category, and volume without manual math.
Focus: Turning numbers into visual stories.
Day 11: Data Connection: Linking Sheets to Looker Studio. Understanding Dimensions (Green) vs. Metrics (Blue).
Day 12: The Executive Summary: Creating high-level "Scorecards" and "Time Series" charts to show trends.
Day 13: Comparison & Distribution: Using Bar charts, Pie charts (and when to avoid them), and Heatmaps.
Day 14: Interactive Filters: Adding Dropdowns, Sliders, and Date Range controls so the end-user can "play" with the data.
Day 15: Branding & Design: Applying themes, layout grids, and conditional formatting to charts (e.g., Red for below target).
Focus: Building a professional-grade project.
Day 16: Calculated Fields in Looker: Creating custom formulas inside the dashboard (e.g., Profit Margin % or Days Since Last Sale).
Day 17: Data Blending: Combining data from two different Google Sheets into one single Looker Studio chart.
Day 18: Capstone Day 1 (Setup): Identify a business problem, design the Form, and start collecting/generating mock data.
Day 19: Capstone Day 2 (Logic): Build the "Engine" in Google Sheets using Pivot tables and Formulas.
Day 20: Capstone Day 3 (Launch): Finalize the Looker Studio Dashboard and share it via a live link.
Primary Software: Google Workspace (Free version is fine).
Outcome: A live, auto-updating dashboard that changes every time someone submits a Google Form.
Key Skill: You won't just learn "how to make a chart"; you'll learn how to build a pipeline that requires zero manual work once set up.
Start Date: To Be Announced – Starting Soon!
Days: Saturdays and Sundays (Tentative)
Time: To be decided based on participant availability.
Format: Live, interactive online classes

This course is specifically designed for individuals who are tired of manual "copy-pasting" and want to build systems that work for them. It is ideal for:
Beginners looking for a low-cost, high-impact entry point into the world of Data Analytics.
Those who want to build a portfolio that demonstrates a full "End-to-End" data project.
Owners who want to track sales, expenses, or customer feedback without paying for expensive software.
Anyone needing a real-time dashboard to see the health of their business at a glance.
Managers who use Google Forms for employee check-ins, recruitment, or inventory tracking.
People who need to turn survey responses into professional reports for leadership meetings.
Students looking to add "Business Intelligence" and "Data Automation" to their resumes.
Educators who want to track student progress and visualize performance data automatically.
If you find yourself stuck in "spreadsheet hell" and want to learn how to automate your workflow so the charts update themselves, this is for you.
Prerequisites: > * No coding or prior data experience required.
A free Google account.
A "can-do" attitude to solve problems!
By the end of this 20-day journey, you won't just have "learned a tool"—you will have built a functional, automated data ecosystem.
Here is exactly what you will walk away with:
You will have a live, working link to a Looker Studio Dashboard that you can share with potential employers or clients. This proves you can handle data from the moment it is collected until it is presented to a CEO.
You will gain the "set it and forget it" skillset. You’ll know how to build a pipeline where:
A user fills out a Google Form.
Google Sheets cleans the data instantly.
Looker Studio updates the charts automatically.
Result: You never have to manually update a report again.
You will bridge the gap between a basic spreadsheet user and a Data Analyst by mastering:
Data Modeling: Understanding how to structure tables for business intelligence.
Logic Systems: Writing complex formulas ($IFS$, $QUERY$, $XLOOKUP$) to handle "dirty" data.
Visual Storytelling: Choosing the right chart for the right insight (e.g., knowing when a "Trend Line" is better than a "Bar Chart").
You will move beyond "just looking at numbers" to providing actionable insights. You’ll learn to answer the "Why?" behind the data:
Instead of: "We had 100 sales."
You will say: "Our sales increased by 15% on Tuesdays because of the new marketing form responses."
