Presentation

Professor of Social Anthropology and Museology at the University of Barcelona (since 1988). He is a specialist in Heritage Studies, Museology, Intangible Heritage, Anthropology of Kinship and Family History. He has been vice-rector for Doctoral Studies and Research Promotion, dean of the Faculty of Geography and History and director of the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Barcelona. He has also been Director of the Master's Degree in World Heritage (2014-2019), and of the Master's Degree in Cultural Heritage Management and Museology (1995-2014). In addition to teaching at the UB, he has been a lecturer at the University of Lleida, and has given numerous informative and scientific conferences in museums and universities, as well as classes in several master's degrees and postgraduate courses in universities in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Luxembourg, Andorra, Canada, Peru, Chile and Colombia.
