Dana Kulic is a Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering and the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Monash University (Australia). Her research focuses on autonomous systems that can collaborate with their users using natural and intuitive interaction strategies that are learned directly from the interaction with their users.
Tapomayukh Bhattacharjee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University. He directs the EmPRISE Lab, and his research focuses on how to leverage robot-world physical and social interactions in unstructured human environments to intelligently and efficiently perform relevant activities of daily living.
Hatice Gunes is a Full Professor of Affective Intelligence and Robotics in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge. She is the Director of the AFAR Lab, and her expertise is in the areas of affective computing and social signal processing cross-fertilizing research in multimodal interaction, computer vision, machine learning and human-robot interaction.
Raquel Ros is the Senior Scientist in Social Robotics at PAL Robotics in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Her work brings the interdisciplinary connection with HRI, cognitive sciences, psychology, sociology, health and education, with emphasis on long-term interaction. Prior to joining PAL Robotics, Raquel received her Ph.D. from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona in 2008.
