Who We Are
The Wymondham Allotment Association (WAA) is an independent association representing the interests of allotment holders at the Tuttles Lane Allotment Site.
We work collaboratively with plot holders, Wymondham Town Council, and the wider community to ensure the allotments remain a thriving, sustainable, and welcoming place for everyone.
Our Purpose
WAA exists to:
🌱 Represent the interests of allotment holders
🌿 Support the effective management of the Tuttles Lane Allotment Site
🌻 Promote sustainable gardening and biodiversity
🍓 Encourage local food production
🤝 Foster friendship, volunteering and community involvement
❤️ Promote health, wellbeing and outdoor activity
🏡 Protect the long-term future of the allotment site as an important community asset
Our Vision
We believe allotments are much more than just places to grow fruit, vegetables and flowers
They are spaces where people can:
Learn new skills
Improve physical and mental wellbeing
Meet neighbours
Support wildlife
Grow healthy food
Share knowledge across generations
Our aim is to help ensure the Tuttles Lane Allotment Site continues to flourish for current and future plot holders.
