Part 10 of my walk along the Staffordshire Way, we begin at Glacier Boulder Car Park next to the Glacier Boulder on the edges of Cannock Chase, where we finished in part 9. We continue passing the trig point and joining The Heart of England Way briefly. We continue through Cannock Chase heading down into the Sherbrook valley and following the brook to stepping stones. Then it's onto Punchbowl car park before heading through the bridleway at Shugborough Hall. We continue to Essex Bridge across the River Trent and join the Trent and Mersey Canal. I make a short detour off the Staffs Way to Great Haywood Junction where the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal meets the Trent and Mersey
