Part 11 of my walk along the Staffordshire Way, we begin at Great Haywood Junction where the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal meets the Trent and Mersey Canal. This is just off the Staffordshire Way trail, but it is where I finished in part 10. We continue along the Trent and Mersey a short way to bridge 73 where the Staffordshire Way joined the canal. We then continue along the towpath all the way to bridge 68 just before Rugeley where we leave the canal and head into the village of Colton, finishing this section outside the Village Hall.
