The Hitler Youth (Hitler-jugend) was the youth organization for Adolf Hitler's regime. Which served as a youth education of Nazi values which led to the Nazi Party dominating and having more followers. With the Hitler Youth in Germany, this led to many children under the spell of Adolf Hitler. Because of this, many children have adopted the values of the Nazis instead of the Weimar Republic. This resulted in the increase in power for the Nazi Party.
The Hitler Youth was full of Hitler's arrogant ideologies, teaching many absurd things to the future of Germany. This included many military-like drills such as throwing grenades, and teaching them anti-Semitic things and other racial hatreds, which were taught to the boys of the Hitler Youth. But many other women in the Hitler Youth were also consumed by Nazi ideologies, such as being taught how to get pregnant and other activities, which of course, were "slightly" modified to fit Hitler's Nazism. Much of the Hitler Youth participated in many major rallies in Nazi Germany, such as the Nuremberg Rallies, which were held annually from 1933 - 1938.
When the children came home from the Hitler Youth, some children threatened to report their parents to the Nazi Gestapo if they even considered to protest against the teachings of the Nazis, which understandably, they did protest against the Nazi Party's education service, which led to some people being under full surveillance by the Gestapo. The Hitler Youth participated in parades, rallies and speeches from high-ranking officials. With most of the Hitler Youth participating in the Nuremberg Speech in 1933.
Many German families were somewhat pressured to enlist their children in the Hitler Youth. Which the result if they didn't was to be treated the same way as "undesirables" were treated. So their options were: Have your children join a youth education system in which your children would submit to Nazi values, or you and you family be treated as "undesirables". Sometimes, neither side of any situation is better than the other. By the end of the war, many men who were still in the Hitler Youth were forcefully enlisted into the war effort, fighting in divisions such as artillery battalions and tanks, including many district leaders who were also conscripted into the war. This action commenced by the Nazi High Command showed the desperation of the Nazis.
Baldur von Schirach was born on May 9, 1907, in Berlin. He was the youngest of his four siblings. Baldur learned English first, and later on learned German when he was six years old.
Baldur von Schirach was a leader of the Hitler Youth from 1931 to 1940. When he was 18, he was elected head of the Hitler Youth in 1931. He was responsible for all Hitler Youth organizations. After a bit, he was also elected as a deputy of the Reichstag. He was accountable for departing 65,000 Vienesse Jews to Nazi concentration camps in Nazi-occupied Poland.
Baldur was skilled in power struggle. He started the School Children's League to compete against the Hitler Youth. He was elected Reichsleiter for youth education. In 1936 the Hitler Youth was the only legal youth organization. He also started the Adolf Hitler Schools in 1937. Schirach was given the rank of Obergruppenführer also in 1937 on November 9.
Baldur stressed that the Hitler Youth was not Protestant Christian or Catholic. He made a plan for the Hitler Youth to be anti-Christian. In 1945, Baldur surrendered to American forces. At the Nuremberg Trials, he was sentenced to 20 years for his crimes. After being released in 1966, Baldur von Schirach retired to Southern Germany. In 1974, Baldur von Schirach died at the age of 67.
